time is flying by
When I was really retired and got to do whatever I wanted everyday, time seemed to drag on and I thought the wedding was so far away and I was so on top of it. But now that I am working again, the wedding is just around the corner and I can't seem to get everything done. Everyday I think, I need a day off! We are interviewing today for the position, so hopefully, just another week or so and then I can retire again.

So, it's been almost 2 weeks since then. Have they hired anyone?
No, they are actually flying the position for a 3rd time. THey do have 2 applicants that we interviewed that they could hire, but each has one issue which is holding them off. They are trying to see if there is anyone else out there. But, I have taken off for 3 weeks now because of the wedding and will go back and help if they still need me after the wedding.
You shouldn't have done such a good job when you were working. That way their expectations wouldn't be so high!
